IsMe Professional Beauty and Skincare and Cafe Review

I visited Isme Beauty and Cafe located in Empire Shopping Gallery Subang last month and had the most amazingly refreshing experience. I had seen a beauty talk show about this cafe a long time ago and even then I thought, this place is superb for us ladies.

What could be better than a cafe that I can learn about my skin and treatment, at the same time be fill my tummies with healthy food, beautiful coffee and amazing cakes. Guess what, they have my favourite Mille Crepes cakes here too in my favourite Matcha flavours. I love the colours used in the deco, it’s a very calming and clean mood.

I was there with beautiful blogger Rane from waiyee.blogspot.com and together we learned so much about their new range of treatment skincare Isme, made in the USA.

1) Gentle Foam Milk (RM168)
I was given a bottle of this cleansing milk to try at home. I use it before my usual face wash as a makeup remover. The way to use it is to wash the hands but not the face, and then pump into the palms about 50 sen size and then dab it all over the face, the forehead, nose and chin and slowly massage it for about 3 min. This way, all the dirt from the whole day being outside is removed. I learned one amazing tip that we shouldn’t wash our face with water before using a cleanser as that would actually close our pores unless we are using warm water. So now I practice just washing my hands and putting on the cleanser first and then only washing it off. This lightweight gentle milk cleanser effortlessly lifts away dull surface cells, makeup and environmental pollutants while pampering sensitive complexions. I love this cleasing milk as it is able to wash away all my makeup in one go, I do a double cleanse if I was wearing thick make up. It is so gentle, I can use it on my eyes too. I only use it once a day in the evening after coming back from work. It feels great on my skin and I did not experience breakout, I also loved the smell which is mild and not perfume laden.

2) O2 Bubble Cleanser (RM198)
This gentle but effective Oxygen Bubble Cleanser cleanses away skin waste and microscopic grime inside pores with rich micro oxygen bubbles. Its deep cleansing action clears dead skin cells, controls sebum, and maintains high moisture without any skin irritation.

3) Calming Gel Solution (RM188)
This refreshing and lightweight Calming Gel restores the skin’s natural pH levels, prevents oil overproduction, firms; tones and adds moisture naturally.

4) Intense Care Snail Essence (RM369) from the Youthful Series

Snail essence is extracted from crawling snails. The essence contains natural anti-microbial peptide that helps repair damaged skin. Together with important multi nutrients, the Snail Essence promotes cell regrowth, hydrate and moisturizes dry skin, protects damaged sensitive skin, and smooth wrinkles to restore youthful skin.

5) O2 Hydra Complex (RM198)

This O2 Hydra Complex delivers deep hydration to minimize the appearance of fine lines. It contains Hydrating botanical ingredients to replenish depleted skin and fill surface lines and help skin resist daily damage from environmental stress. Its natural moisturizing factor increases skin’s elasticity while delivering powerful antioxidants to help repair and prevent cellular damage. I love the light blue, it reminds me of the water based sleeping masks that I am using now.

6) Recovery Eye Essence (RM288)

This exclusive Eye Essence helps transform the looks around the delicate eye area. It also helps prevent wrinkles, visibly lifts and firms and helps brighten dark circles.

7) Anti-Blemish Suncare (RM198)

The ultimate anti-blemish sun care protection from environmental aggressors! It hydrates, provides relief from irritation; improves skin elasticity and prevents wrinkles, and enhances skin whitening. This new-concept skin-protective cream keeps the skin uniform and glossy for longer durations and covers skin defects.

The colour is actually tinted so it’s like you don’t need foundation after using this. I love tinted products.

7) Skin Brightening Exfoliator (RM175)

Specially developed for Asian skin, this high-performance Skin Brightening Exfoliating Cleanser helps eliminate dead skin cells & improve surface texture. It also visibly prevents dark spots & discolouration so skin appears clearer smoother more radiant & evenly-toned.

This is how it looks like inside…it’s got a light pleasant herbal smell to it.

8) Purifying Treatment Essence (RM198)

This Purifying Treatment Essence helps maintain the skin’s natural renewal cycle to its optimum condition. It nourishes the skin, rebalance the skin’s pH and sebum secretion so oily and dry areas are properly moisturised.

9) Purifying Treatment Complex (RM178)

The Purifying Treatment Complex balances oily skin and beautifies the complexion thanks to its detoxifying ingredients with plant extract based formulas that’s specially designed to restore skin balance, smoothes and mattifies.

As you can see, there is like an unlimited range of products for every need. These featured here are just some that I checked out, and and there are so much more including one for bust massage.

After talking about skincare we were totally famished and needed to replenish our energy too.

I love this Isme Signature Latte with a cute Rillakuma latte art! It was so cute that I didn’t want to drink it, but once I drank, the coffee was super good, extremely smooth and not too strong, just perfect for ladies.

Heart Booster (RM18.90) (Australia imported cold-cuts smoked turkey roll, spaghetti, cube-shaped avocados, cherry tomatoes, parsley, topped with parmesan cheese and parsley crumbs)
This pasta is really delicious, tastes better than it looks. I love that they use avocados in it, it blends superbly well with the cream and tomatoes and a generous amount of cheese, yet the whole dish felt light to the taste and guilt free when you enjoy it.

Lite & Crisp Fish Burger (RM25.90)
(Bamboo charcoal bun, crispy fish fillet, mayo, wasabi mayo, Cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers red onions)

I love this burger a lot. The patty inside is actually a fish fillet, it’s crispy and the fish is so fresh. It’s an interesting combo with the wasabi mayo which is not spicy but just a tinge of taste. It was served with a side of criss cross fries, great if I was dining with the kids, they would love to eat that. Bamboo charcoal bun is also a healthier option, there are many well known benefits to use this as alternative.

Rose Lychee Mille Crepe Cake (RM15.90)

Crepe cakes can never go wrong for me, I love every creamy bite of this. I would love to have more if my tummy permits. Every layer is lovingly made and gives a great lychee taste, topped with real lychee on top too. The cream did not feel too heavy, it’s more like fresh cream.
