Shopping Experience at Skechers, Sunway Pyramids
Even before getting the Skechers Hot Light, I told Josiah about getting him shoes with blinking lights and he was so excited about it. He had the shoes now for nearly a month, and this morning, he was still just as excited about wearing it to school as he was on the first day. Here’s a brief description of these shoes.

Before I got them, I was a little doubtful whether Josiah would be able to wear these to walk and run in as all the while, he only wore sandals and never a sporty kind of shoes. I had purchased some before but they were usually too hard to put on, not flexible with very hard soles and just plain uncomfortable and in the end, he always asked to wear back his old sandals even to school. The good news, and I’m not making this up just because Skechers gave us these shoes, Josiah loved his shoes to bits and actually for the first time, request specifically to wear them whenever we go out. Like this morning, I took out his old school shoes but he told me, “No, I want to wear the Skechers, just like yours.”
I think if I was a kid, I will love it too, for it lights up! Not only that, I believe it must be totally comfortable because my Skechers are. It is also very easy for me, the parent, to put on as I don’t have to tie the laces. The laces on them are fixed and it uses a velcro strap to put on and take off. Actually, Josiah himself had learned how to put on and take them off since it is to easy.
The other thing was, I bought a size bigger for him, thinking maybe he can wear it later when his feet grew bigger. I got him a Size 12 meant for 4 year olds, as mentioned, Josiah would have none of that as he wanted to wear it now. So the good thing is, even though it was big, it is not clunky and hard to walk in, he still can wear it with or without socks and run all over the place without complaints.

I also love the fact that it is made of leather and therefore, easy to wipe off any dirt. In fact, after a month’s use it still looks like new without any dirt on it. Fancy that for an active toddler. His other shoes are all dirty within days’ use coz of the cloth material and light colours. I am a total Skechers convert, want to join me?
