Josiah Lu Yew Jung DOB: 05 Feb 2009Ok, for the last month of the year, I am going to submit for this MomBloggersPlanet’s Baby Contest again, and what more, the theme is about smiling babies. If you ask me what is Josiah’s best feature, I would say it is his smile, besides his michelin body.
Josiah really loves to smile, and he would smile at anybody. My baby sitter says that he is easily satisfied, and he would easily smile at fluffy toys, people smiling at him, cameras and so on. Last week when we went to Sunway Pyramid, he smiled at all the stuffed toys on display, and the all the cute deco of huge mascots. He also readily flashed his smile at the waiters and waitresses at the eateries we went to.
I guess I am being prejudice, but I would say his smile can melt anyone’s heart. His eyes would become slits so small just like daddy, and he would show his tiny teeth.
Why do I love to see Josiah smiling?
Well, definitely because it takes away any tiredness, worries, anxiety and burdens of the day, but not only that, it makes me glad to know that he is happy, satisfied and healthy. Plus, it is infectious when he smiles, he will make me smile back, and with his smile, he brings such joy to me. What more can a parent ask for, than for their baby to be joyful and happy always, to show his joy back to you after all the hard work poured in to bring him up? It doesn’t matter that I never get to sleep throughout the night, it doesn’t matter that I have less time for myself, to go out with friends and all that, it doesn’t matter that I have to stay home with him most nights, all that doesn’t matter when he looks up at me and smile as if saying, “Thank you mummy, I love you for all that you have done.” And then I would know, all is well, and I will give thanks to my God for giving me a smiley baby.

1. This contest is opened to Malaysian babies 0-3 years old at the time of entry.
2. Picture should be current or less than 1 year difference from the actual age of baby.
3. You can post many pictures in one entry but should not compile them together. Please post each picture separately to make judging easy.
4. Entry must be submitted by a parent, legal guardian or close relatives (can enter for child, sibbling or cousin).
5. Entry can be in Bahasa Malaysia or English.
6. Contest starts from 1st to 15th December 2009
7. By participating, you expressly consent for your particulars, entries and photos to be posted on MomBloggersPlanet.com.
8. The Grand Prize and First Prize winners will be automatically qualified for the 2009 Cutest Baby of the Planet contest.
