Yesterday was the start of the Wake Up With Zespri campaign that kicked off with a blast with the Zespri® Sungold Kiwifest at Desa Parkcity. The campaign is all about how consuming a sweet and zesty kiwifruit every morning can impact the overall wellbeing of my whole family every day!

Zespri® SunGold Kiwifest on 29 May 2016

The Zespri® SunGold Kiwifest is a regional initiative that began in Malaysia yesterday and will carry on in Singapore and the Australia. The event started early at 8.30am in the morning and lasted till 11:30am at Desa Parkcity, the Kiwifest will carry the main campaign message of Wake Up With Zespri incorporating fun elements of family breakfast time.

It was a fun event in the outdoors for the whole family with some really nice kiwi themed food for all visitors.

We really enjoyed the kiwi meat balls and tarts! Nice idea for a breakfast recipe that uses the kiwi fruit.

Tee shares, “We are very pleased to share that one of the main highlights is a special Pop Pilates class led by world-renowned celebrity fitness instructor and founder of Blogilates, Cassey Ho from Los Angeles, the no.1 most watched female fitness channel on Youtube with over 3 million subscribers.” Cassey flew all the way to Malaysia from Los Angeles for this event to meet all her Malaysian fans who experienced a live class conducted by her. Malaysian emcee celebrity Jojo Struys also conducted a very peaceful yoga session just before introducing Cassey.

It was really amazing to see everyone braving the hot sun to exercise together with Cassey who is super motivational and fun in a her approach to fitness. I must admit, I love her youtube fitness vids too and love working out to her vids whenever I have to stay indoors.

The Zespri® SunGold Kiwifest is a public event with no entry fee charged, and the line-up of activities include activities by LeelaPass – a children enrichment centre, who will conduct 15-minute blocks of mass participation physical activities including ball games, fun interactive ‘full body’ rock, paper, scissors game, arts and craft and finger painting.

The first 500 little Zespri fans who joined the games also received a limited edition Zespri Kiwifruit World tee by renowned London illustrator and artist, Harry Malt, no wonder the illustration is do good! Josiah loves it a lot. We are also proud owners of of a limited edition BPA-Free Zespri Water bottle specially for the first 1500 who came and registered.

Other fun activities include a Smoothie Bike – ride the bike to blend your own kiwifruit smoothies! Community Colouring Wall, Giant Twister and kids’ special Kiwi Dartboard from www.onehattrick.com, Zorb Ball, feel-good freestyle music by DJ Irama, dynamic positive tunes by GTXperiment and a complimentary kiwifruit inspired breakfast. The many activities for the kids really was well planned. Our kids truly enjoyed painting, throwing the balls on the giant sungold kiwi and just running about on the large field. It was something different for our weekend which was spent indoors most of the time.

GTXperiment really entertained and got the crowd going, despite the strong sun, everyone stayed on till the end of the fest.
