We are always on the look out for the nicest latest indoor playgrounds in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur and recently, a very cool playground opened in Avenue K mall, just opposite Suria KLCC. It is so timely to go there and play indoors since we have this haze season and we still don’t want our kids to be cooped up inside the house only. I went to check it out during the launch day and it was a really beautiful Space Themed playground with cool colours.
I love them purple balls! This is a pretty big playground that covers an area of 5500 square feet. There are lots to do here from ball pits to slides, to climbing areas to trampolines and the ball blasting arena.
Being in a shopping mall, it’s very important that playgrounds offer Drop and Shop facilities and Starlight does just that. Parents can opt for that service and let their kids play for unlimited time under the watchful eyes of the staffs while they get their shopping done in Avenue K. I had been to playgrounds that do not have a secure entrance and exit where kids can run out easily, this is not the case at Starlight. There is really one way to go in and one way to go out and the staffs are standing at that entrance at all times. Children also wear tags to easily identify them, and there are staffs inside the playground too to watch the kids in case they are into doing dangerous stunts. Of course, they also have the regular per entry service where parents or guardians can accompany their children inside the playground and wish we could jump on the trampoline too.
The other great and sometimes overlooked facility is the washroom within the playground! We don’t have to worry about little ones needing to go and taking the trouble to go outside to find out, they have it right inside and it’s cute and colourful!
There are even dedicated rooms for holding events and parties inside here. Starlight do offer personalized party packages and later this month, there will also be after school classes for children, and even classes for parents, how cool is that. I think every child would want to come here  for after school programs! It’s just way too fun and it’s a great way to exercise and burn some energy physically!
Star Light Kids really understand that sometimes you might bring kids of differing ages so they have created this toddler’s play area separately with its own smaller ball pit to stay away from bigger kids that play rougher.
When little tummies get hungry, there’s a Star Light Kafe right outside the entrance serving healthy delectable food. There’s a free locker area too to keep your precious things. By the way, anyone entering the playground must wear socks for hygiene purposes. Star Light Kids take hygiene really seriously! They will close at certain hours monthly to clean all the balls, one by one, that’s true love and dedication! Bad hygiene is the main reason I’d never go to a playground a second time, no such issues here for sure.
Star Light Kids is located at Level 3 Avenue K, and is open 10am – 8pm daily, do follow their Facebook page for the latest info!
It’s a little kids’ wonderland there. I don’t envy the parents who have to accompany the kids while they play. LOL
How nice! This is making me wish I am a kid again!
This is so cool! Too bad I miss to go this place… The kids will surely enjoy!

Wow, is a great playground for kids!! Will bring my kids to visit then~~
such a shame i couldnt make it for this event. The big kid which I was suppose to bring, was taken back to penang by the in laws that weekend.
Glad to see how it looks like from your blog.
Definitely look like an awesome place to bring the kids and spent time with them, or simply drop them off while mummy and daddy go for a couple of hour’s date… hehehe
This is an awesome place for kids though…nice one! Can suggest to my little artists’ parents to bring them there to explore 🙂
