I’ve been asked to buy Eco laundry balls by at least 3 people at different green events, each time I just say no thanks and never bothered to find out about it. I was a pure skeptic, in my mind always thinking how on earth can some ceramic balls remove all the grime and dirt and smelly baby urine from my laundry?
Until few days ago, josiah developed sone rash in his diaper area, coz we had gotten lazy and used Dynamo and Nappikleen to wash his diapers and clothes. I did not know that these two are the biggest No No for baby diapers.
So I went online to search for suitable detergents, but they were soooo pricey. One I saw cost rm80 per bottle, that’s crazy for detergent. Then I found a website selling these Eco laundry balls. Niceclothdiaper.com also sells cloth diapers and cloth pads. I guess you can say I was immediately smitten by their current promotion of buy 2 Eco laundry balls, free 3 cloth diapers. I even received a free wetbag for dirty diapers.
Well, bought it and received it in 2 days, and it was the first time i was so excited to do laundry. To wash, I need to soak the Eco balls in the washing machine with my laundry for at least one hour. That’s easy coz most new machines have the soak function.
The verdict? Amazing! This is such an awesome invention! My clothes came out smelling so fresh. There isn’t any fragrant though, but no sweat smell either. I had to try a second round with cloth diapers. The same way, soak for an hour. I left the washed diapers from night till morning in the machine. Normally, cloths will stink if I leave it wet in the machine over night, but not this time. No smell at all.
With the Eco laundry balls, I can save so much from not buying detergent for the next 3 years, while enjoying clean clothes without all the harmful chemicals.
