So that night when we reached Penang, our mission is to look for some good food. Both of us have no idea where is good to eat, so we just drove around town and see which kopi tiam look appetizing. Basically, my target was Lor mee while John was looking for Hokkien Mee (Prawn mee), so when we pull up at Sin Kim Sun cafe at Jalan Macalister, we were quite surprised that this was quite a well known place.
So we wasted no time to order some good local food, the popiah.

The taste? Superb, where can we find such authentic Penang food outside of Penang? There are places in Kajang we can get Penang Lor Mee, but somehow it is not the same!
The next morning, it was harder to find breakfast, as most of the night eateries are not open in the morning, those that are, we don’t really know where to find. We were at the Jetty area and wanted to bring Josiah to the Fort Cornwallis so we just stopped by this foodcourt and had simple bee hoon and nasi lemak, but it was really good as well.
That morning, Josiah didn’t want to eat his food. Maybe it wasn’t so fresh after all the travelling.
So no choice, we had to go get him Heinz baby jar food, which he gobbled up.
Well, the rest of the time there, we also ate at shopping malls, and had lobak, that’s about it! Not much of a feasting frenzy eh.
hehe…yur boy’s in the pic so cute and chubby (as if kenyang makan from your makan trip!)
