Last minute to Lion City

This is the first time I am going to travel outstation upon a last minute notice..2 days to be exact. Tonight I’m taking the night train, Ekspres Senandung Malam from Kajang to Singapore. Anyways, it’s going to be a ‘business trip’ not a leisure one, as I’m going with a bunch of my church people to attend this cell conference over in TCC. The schedules are rather packed, which I’m glad, so we won’t have time to stroll and spend money I don’t need to spend. Anyways, last 2 days was just spent packing and check listing everything that I need. I usually have to take a long time to think of the slightest details, no thanks to my forgetfulness.

So, we’re going to be staying at Fragrance Hotel, at the notorious Joo Chiat Road. I would rather have gone to Betel Box backpackers, just a few blocks away, simply for the better facilities and the free internet and wifi service. At Fragrance, internet access cost SGD4! Internet reviews aren’t all that bad about the place, but I shall write my personal review of the place from the viewpoint of a service checker when I get back! I hope to be able to blog from there, hopefully I get wifi service at the church itself…I’m going to be bringing John’s Dell Axim for all the wifi needs, no Ipod Touch, so that will do for now. 😛 Alritey, now I have to get back to downloading vids and podcasts for my entertainment on the long 10 hours journey sleeping in the train….
