This is the first scan picture I have of my baby! I did not get the previous 2, coz I have to pay extra for it. 🙁 I won’t be getting another picture until I get my 4d scan later on. Anyways, went for a checkup today and it was the usual stuff. Blood pressure, scan, weighting. I have gained to much weight! 2 kg in a month is too much…whoops. Better rethink what I’m putting into my mouth and not get carried away. Next checkup is only in Sept 11, that very date huh.

Today, I went for the 2nd checkup at Klinik Dr. Bedi. This time, John followed me in so he can see baby too. So it’s the normal checkup, taking my blood pressure, stand on the scale, and the ultrasound. My weight has increased another 1.5kg. Is it from last night’s party, eating too much? Baby’s head has increased in size. Hands have also developed. It was interesting, looking at the picture from the ultrasound. Unfortunately, I once again forgot to ask for a copy of the pic. So, next time ok. I have to go back earlier next month as the doc is going away for a while, on holiday…

On June 23rd, after just coming back from a tiring trip from Penang, we visited a Gynae. We debated at first to visit a public clinic or a private gynae or a general clinic. In the end, I decided I wanted to go straight to a proper gynae so I won’t have to trouble myself going everywhere. We ended up at friend’s recommendation at Clinic Dr Bedi in Sg Chua. We went in and there weren’t many people there. I guess I was a little nervous as I didn’t know what’s involved in the check-up. On 20th June, we decided to do a home test. We went to Watson’s a got a Dip and Tell home test kit. According to online pregnancy calculators, I should be 6 weeks preggie at the time. So we got this test kit that comes with a container, well, it’s a urine test. It’s as easy as dip it in and if one line appears, it means you did the test correctly, and if a 2nd line appears, means it’s positive. So, I woke up early that morning and quickly did the test, and within seconds the 2nd line appears! I am confirmed pregnant after all. How does it feel?…
