Week 23
Last week, I had my 6th checkup at the gynae. Here’s what baby should be looking like now. I don’t have the scan for my last check, but baby sure looked big and healthy. At this last stages of my 2nd trimester, I’m already going out to stock up on baby stuffs before I get too heavy to walk around in our huge malls. Sept 11, my third checkup. I am putting on more weight than I should, although my Gynae didn’t tell me to watch my diet or anything. On the scale, I put on another 2 kg. Today’s check was a little different, I had my blood taken. The doc used a large needle, like those used for blood donation and sucked out 2 tubes of blood. Tomato Kueh Tiaw is only found in Sarawak, it happens to be one of the many amazing dishes Kuching has. I always missed this dish and must eat it everytime I go back for a short trip. Recently, after coming back from Kuching, I so terribly missed it that I decided to try to cook it myself.
