Magical Ramadhan Nights at Pullman Putrajaya Lakeside

Pullman Putrajaya Lakeside is a beautiful resort and the whole clock tower open air venue really came alive during the Ramandan Magical Nights preview with live musical entertainment and a large array of food, light and laser show, lifting up the festive mood and cheeriness to all their guests.

The food selection is really massive with over 100 Malaysian and international dishes. They are served in large portions, really large!  Do watch the video they captured below of the night itself to let you have the feel of what it is all about.

In any buffet, I love to start off with raw vegetables, aka salad or fruits to prepare for a feast. It was truly a night of non stop feasting and there are several specialty in this buffet that really stood out.

The grilled seafood corner was definitely one of the most popular. I really loved the grilled fish and squid, very fresh and soft and the meat was really sweet. At the same counter were also satay, and the satay is on par with Satay Kajang trust me.

We can make our own pasta of all sorts, as well as savour the Italian cuision like pizzas, lasagne and more.

It feels like we are travelling around the world as food varies from Lebanese to Local delights like bubur and cucur udang.

The whole lamb is a must at Ramadan buka puasa buffet, but what about the giant fish! I was quite shocked as the fish is the size of the lamb! A sight to behold!

I also really enjoyed seafood like mussels, lala and clams as they were really fresh and fried with herbs and spices to bring out the tastiness.

I love how hawker food was also present there, like chicken rice, laksa, dim sum and more.

As for drinks, we could help ourselves to the special smoothies, the iced drinks, canned drinks, coffee, tea and more.


In an enclosed hall, I was surprised to find like the house of hansel and gretel, a room filled with dessert, sweets, icy treats like ice cream and ABC, fruits, and even pop corn. It was like a dream come true!

Besides cakes, there was a decent selection of local kuih as well which was a nice option to have.

Thanks to the outdoor setting, we could have what else, the king of fruits, an unlimited supply of Durians! Besides durians, there were also mangosteens, bananas, dragonfruits, and jackfruit which we could help ourselves to. It was quite fun and memorable to eat them together and brings back fond memories of eating them with my family.
