P1 Internet had always been one of the first telcos that engaged bloggers on a very personal level, and #P1OMANITE on 30 April 2015 at Th Co. KL proves just that.
P1OMANITE was a night of chill, huddle and reconnect with each other, people that we read of online but hardly get to meet face to face, especially for the new PR to get to know us as well as the CMO to meet the bloggers that had been writing about P1 for nearly a decade, 7 years for me since 2008.
We started with some fun ice breaker game that involved a wefie. I took home an IKEA pillow in this game, now it is my neck pillow in the car for long trips.
Before that of course, we get to dine to our heart’s content. More on the food of the night below.
After the game, CMO had a few words with the bloggers as everyone get to ‘lie around’ literally on the floor pillows. When you are comfortable, you are more receptive I guess. CMO Shu Wei talked to us about some future plans and the new partnership with TM. It all sounded very promising and exciting and we hoped to there would be more engagement with bloggers in the future of P1.
As mentioned, P1 thinks highly of bloggers and our opinions totally matter for them, therefore they had this activity to ask us what we want and how they can be part of our blogging life and how things can be improved etc. This was fun, as nearly everyone asked for FREE INTERNET for bloggers. We learned that there could be plans to have a BLOGGERS SPECIAL INTERNET PLAN, hopefully it is free and for a lifetime.
These were the answers that my group members came out with and we were pretty happy with our suggestions.
Every group had the opportunity to spill their thoughts after which the ideas were all taken away by P1, hopefully to go make it come to past!
At the end, we heard from the P1 team in a line about some future projects involving retreats and galas, exciting times indeed for us in the family of P1OMA!
So what was the food we had for the night? They were so good they deserved a special mention here.
1) MYBurgerLab
I heard so much about Burgerlab but never had the chance to savour it, so here was my chance finally. I did not realise that Burgerlab caters for events prior to this.
We had mini chicken and beef burgers, as well as sides of salad, salmon, and egg. It was all super delicious.
They sure don’t skimp on the meat!
2) Mini cupcakes from Bitter/Sweet & Coffee from Brewmen
For the sweet toothed, there were so many tiny mini cupcakes to delight that, I had some with OREOs on it.
The Baristas at Brewmen’s pop up corner lovingly brewed each cup one at a time. The coffee I had  was amazing and perked me up immediately, maybe too much as I couldn’t fall asleep that night, not sure was it because of the coffee or the buzz of the evening.
3) The Tapping Tapir
Drinks to quench the thirsts were further supplied by The Tapping Tapir, a kind of healthy sodafied drink with real fruit juice. There were many types and I had to try it all. Some others that needed even more energy maybe for a long drive home that night (I heard it was super jam) had a supply of RED Bull to go.
Do you want to be a P1OMA (Online Media Associates) too? Why don’t you join me as P1 OMA wants to expand to include space for up to 2000 bloggers in future.
