Have you heard one of those ads on radio about good consumerism is making price comparisons when you shop? I certainly like to know the pricing of products I’m interested in and being able to make comparisons immediately, especially through the internet. Unfortunately, not many companies want to list their product pricing online, maybe because they want to allow dealers to name their price. It’s not fun to walk from shop to shop checking and then going back to buy again later after making your rounds.
Which is why I wish we have a price comparison price like Savebuckets in Malaysia. Obviously, this is a UK site, even the logo has a pound sign on it. This is basically a site that compares pricing of a certain product you search for, and list available products from a number of different shops, such as Asda, Comet, John Lewis, PC World and Toys R Us and other specialist online only shops such as Dixons, Firebox, Pixmania and Play.com. You can find lots of products, like iPods, mp3 player, plasma tvs, cameras and more. Find your best price and you can buy from those shops on their individual websites but not on Savebuckets. It’s cool, if only we have such a site here so we can make an informed decision before making a trip to the malls.
