Since the start of Ramadhan, Kajang town has seen extra traffic especially during lunch hours. Why is this so?
I was stuck in one of those jams yesterday mid afternoon as I was leaving my office for lunch, and lo and behold, it also happened to be raining. A normal 5 minute drive to reach town this time took me half an hour. That was how bad the jam was. So slow that I was able to snap pics.
Today, during lunch, I was able to witness a group of Maybank Kajang employees, ‘catching snakes’ or ‘chicken’ (meaning escaping work) by protesting outside the the bank.
What a funny sight, the signs are all very funny. I heard that many companies and government offices are not giving their employees bonuses this Raya. What happened? Bosses, this is not the way to go to cut cost. Making sure your employees are happy and productive should always be your No. 1 priority. No point keeping unproductive, dissatisfied workers, who are always LLB (Look Like Busy). That’s exactly what you get by not giving bonuses during Raya.
