KAOG organised a Missions Food and Fair to raise funds in support of 50 rural area pastors. The fair saw members of the church from all sections, including the outreaches come together in a united effort to make this fair a success.
The people set up stalls to sell their special kinds of food, from Palembang Satay to Hainan Chicken rice. There were also lots of game stalls, the special game being Dunk the Pastors.
Ps Bernard the missions pastor was dunked a few times for RM800, nothing like a bit of fun for a good cause.
There was even a Dog show, courtesy of Stephen’s Guard dogs. Visitors gather to watch in amazement as a stuntman put himself at risk to be bitten by the large dogs to show how well trained the dogs are.
All in all, the fair was a terrific time, as people filled their stomaches, played games, and won prizes. Most importantly, the target of RM20000 of funds to be raised was way surpassed, as about RM30000 managed to be raised by the end of the day.
