I had been sending out lots of Joost invites, but have no idea if anyone is actually getting it. Ya know, it’s beta after all. When watching movies with Joost, I usually need to click play, and then pause, and let it download the whole thing before I can actually enjoy watching it. The same cannot be said for Crunchyroll.com
This website has a huge collection of Asian drama, anime and more, and it’s totally free. The movie real fast and you can view it full screen, within the browser that is. It is not extremely clear like Joost, but it is good enough for me, coz there is no lag. One can support Crunchyroll by donating as low as USD6 to get a month’s worth of high bandwidth movies and premium videos. It’s USD15 for three months and USD30 for 6 months. They accept payment via paypal as well.
This website is completely valuable for those who can’t even watch Asian stuff at the cinema or get the DVD in their countries.
This site is actually run by a college kid. I’m not sure how legal it is…but crunchyroll welcomes copyright infringement notices and states them clearly on the site how to go about it. Well. enjoy your asian movies while it last.
