We had a blasting good time at Glad Tidings PJ for a Christmas concert, that had some very special guests, including the Malaysian Idols complete with Jien hosting half of the show, and Juwita Suwito, The Aseana Percussion Unit and GrooveUnction.
The whole concert saw the artistes coming on one by one and belting out Christmas carols. Nikki performed some carols in her own version, ala Beyonce style I think. Andrew for sure, sang some very slow songs, like I’ll Be Home for Christmas. Jac showed off her very powerful voice and really rocked the house, with songs like O Holy Night. I love Juwita’s Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas best, her voice is so jazzy and just perfect.
The bands of the night were fantastic. The guys on the percussions were excellent! Really entertaining stuffs.
Jien hosted half the show and had to leave apparently due to another show. What busy lives these artistes had to live huh. GT was was really good in that they allowed us to take pics and ask for autos after the show. The pastors had a watchful eye on the crowd tho.
Seeing that Andrew didn’t have as much fans than Nikki and Jac who were been surrounded, we decided to take a group pic with him. I had another two young teenage girls with me, who couldn’t stop runnning around and asking for all the autos and snapping away with the stars.
I did manage to get a personal pic with Juwita, probably the only person I really wanted a pic with. Thanks to her for getting me the tickets in the first place.
