Last night, right after work, I decided to rush to FGAKL for the final nite concert of The Edge Creative Arts Conference. Although I was half and hour late, I didnt regret making the trip (not that I would). It was a fantastic night of great worship unto our Great God. Two bands were playing last night. Altered Frequency, a local band, and the Desperation Band.

Both bands were fantastic and managed to work the thousands in the crowd to a new level of worship. I sat so far away, (coz of the lateness) that I thought the atmosphere would be a bit quieter there. I was dead wrong, the whole sanctuary was very alive and hungry for the touch of the Spirit. People of all ages were there, from very young to really old. But all were exalting the Might King of Heaven.

I even saw some Rage people there having a great time. Best of all, I manage to catch up with some old fellas that I haven’t seen in ages, more than two years since I left. First person I saw was Ruth. Ruth was a girl I had met at Little Lambs, a home for kids under FGA’s umbrella. I worked there a while after graduation, more than 2 years ago. She was my best mate then, only sweet sixteen. Well, she’s a young woman now, doing her studies at Stamford College some more. Sweet!

Then I get to chit chat with Pas Jane, Pas Mike and Pas Daniel. It was really cool, like it was just yesterday. Hhm, I figure I really miss the whole bunch of them a lot. I am so guilty of not keeping in touch. In fact, the first thing Ruth said when she saw me was, ” You are so BAD! Why you never call us anymore! ” GOsh, guilty me! Well, at least we exchanged numbers, must remember to keep in touch somehow. I AM really bad in that business.

I was really blessed from attending the short concert as it is. It wasn’t just a concert, God threw in all the extras for me. It was just awesome! Hey, check out the bands ( the sites, that is ) and get their CDs! This is just me doing a part in promoting them!
