Maximus Musicus Visits The MPO Orchestra
Maximus Musicus is a rather peculiar little mouse and this is the story of him getting lost in the orchestra. This is one very interesting way to introduce the instruments and the background of the orchestra to the little ones. Furthermore, Datuk Yasmin Yusoff is the story teller, how can I miss this? I practically grew up with her voice on the radio. I believe she can make any story come to life effortlessly. Let’s Build A Band with Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra

Let’s Build a Band with the MPO!
The Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) will present its ever popular Family Fun Day series with two shows on Saturday, 13 May 2018 at 2.30 pm and 4.30 pm at Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS (DFP), KLCC. Malaysian prodigy and piano virtuoso, Tengku Irfan, returns to Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS (DFP) for the second time this year to present dazzling concerts with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO). After enthralling audience with his brilliant improvisation of ‘cadenzas’ in his début concerts with the MPO in 2009, Irfan has soared high and achieved the impossible; he became a prize winner at the Aspen Prokofiev Piano Concerto No.2 Competition, the ASCAP Charlotte Bergen and ASCAP Morton Gould Young Composer awards, and has collaborated with orchestras such as the Singapore Symphony, Sao Paulo State Youth Orchestra, Juilliard Orchestra and Estonian National Symphony. Classical music luminaries that have performed with him includes Neeme…
