THE MPO PERFORMS A TRIBUTE TO THE MUSIC OF ABBA
Relive the nostalgia of the music of the legendary Swedish pop supergroup, ABBA, as the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) pays tribute to them in a concert on Friday, 2 December 2022 at 8:30 pm at Plenary Hall, Kuala Lumpur Convention Center (KLCC). This concert, Arrival from Sweden: The Music of ABBA, will witness the MPO breaking out of the box and fusing pop and classical elements, giving the audience music richness on a whole new level while capturing the spirit of the pop group. MPO’s Symphonic Anime at Dewan Filharmonik Petronas
Last weekend, the MPO was back to perform not one, but four anime concerts! It was proven that anime fans are not just lovers of the art and story of anime, but are equally lovers of the music of anime. The Symphonic Anime was originally planned for 1 night concert but due to popular demand, it turned into four sold out concerts from 26 Aug to 28 Aug with a full capacity of over 3,600 people (920 people per concerts). MPO 20th Anniversary Gala Concert
The moment Leona extended the invitation to this grand MPO 20th Anniversary, I could hardly breathe; panting with excitement. The dress code was, suit up and dress up. This round, I brought my friend Elsa Jane Ling. Thankful for Harry for being so generous with the invitation that I can enjoy this event with my friend.
