The Malaysian Philharmonic Youth Orchestra (MPYO) continues to bring youthful enthusiasm in music in its upcoming concert on Sunday, 31 March 2019 at 3.00 pm at Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS (DFP), KLCC. One of Malaysia’s youngest orchestras, the MPYO celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2017 with a host of concerts that affirmed its stature as an orchestra to be reckoned with in this region. Every once a year, our little family will need to travel to Kuching and Sarikei to visit our families for Chinese New Year. I realised every year, we would struggle to decide which is the best time and cost saving method to travel to Sarikei from Kuching. This is because there is no airport in Sarikei!
