With the recent hype by BSA on catching distribution of pirated software, some of the distributor companies I know are taking precautions to ensure a they won’t get caught. Precautions include uninstalling all the non licensed software such as MS Office, Norton Antivirus, Windows and more. Licensed software are also selling like hot cakes coz of the scare. The place I work, however, is not as terrified with the the threats of the Gov. They merely asked us to shut the office should we get a suspiscious feeling that the Ops people are coming. Spybot destroyed!
I woke up this morning. What do you expect? Anyway, that’s not the point here. 😛 A friend of mind was complaining that he couldn’t go online. Actually, he’s already online, just that his browser couldnt load the pages he wants to visit, er simply, it redirects automatically to a blank page, with the title bar showing ‘searchpage.html’. I immediately recognised this as some kind of spyware. Another bloke tried running Spybot Search & Destroy on his computer, unfortunately, it couldnt get rid of the ridiculous blank page :O So, I decided to Google for some solutions to this irritating problem. Altered Frequency Desperation Band Last night, right after work, I decided to rush to FGAKL for the final nite concert of The Edge Creative Arts Conference. Although I was half and hour late, I didnt regret making the trip (not that I would). It was a fantastic night of great worship unto our Great God. Two bands were playing last night.
