When To Give
Growing up, we are taught to give during special occasions, birthdays, Teacher’s day, Mother’s day, Christmas etc. These are important times we learn to part with something of value to us and give it to another to make them happy. Most times, our gifts are expected. My mum will know come Mother’s day that each one of us four girls will have made her a premium design card. My best friend will know that on her birthday, she would receive a gift from me. Teachers in school anticipate class parties and many gifts and thank yous on Teacher’s day. However, I just had a thought. Have we ever tried giving…

Halal Food Ask to Add Pork
I was just shopping at Giant when I saw this interesting product. I took it down, coz it says Kueh Chap. Kueh Chap in my knowledge in Sarawak is a kind of noodle cooked with lots of pork parts. Upon checking the box I noticed that it is a Halal Product, supposedly approved by the Islamic Committee Office of Thailand. Then I read the instructions in poor English and lots of typo and noticed that it advised to ‘add pork!’ How inappropriate of a Halal product! Granted, the Kueh Chap is just noodles, but hhm, still, I’d say be careful to read labels if you’re Muslim.

On Tues afternoon, Jessy made a visit and told me she could hear him wheezing. She was pretty concerned and that caused me to be extra concerned about it, and John also…

App Review – Full Term Labour Contraction Timer
I downloaded this app, Full Term Labour Contraction Timer last minute when my contraction started at 4am. In fact, I downloaded a few apps, and found only this one really works, plus it’s free. To start counting, once a contraction is felt, it is as simple as pressing the Start button. Once the contraction stops, press the Stop button. The app automatically calculates the duration, frequency and even gives you the average over the last hour and the last 6 hours, which by the way, can be customised too. You can view your logged times and even email it to your spouse. The log times also serve as info for…
