I was so excited to date my youngest boy Jordan to watch this show, The Bear accompanied by The Malaysian Philharmoic Orchestra. The orchestra was conducted by Harish Shankar. I always love MPO’s Family Fun Day, not only because I can bring my boys to enjoy it but also the lighter format of how things are presented. Conductors are not only great in waving their wands, but they are actually really great presenters. Harish lifted the mood of the hall and captured the attention of all the young ones. Meeting Mickey Mouse At the Mickey and the Roadster Racers
Mickey Mouse is Jordan’s all time favourite character. So much so for five years of his life, he only wears a few of his Mickey Mouse Tshirts. Therefore, he was so excited when I told him we would meet Mickey At Mickey and The Roadster Racers roadshow and movie premiere. Can you imagine how long we lined up for a few seconds to take this photo? Nevertheless, it was such a precious memory for Jordan. At the roadshow, he even got his first driver’s licence. So funny. Improving Your Relationship with Prudential Relationship Index
I have indeed always wondered how relationships really work. Well, now there are data to show us what people really want in a relationship, be it with their partner, their parents, friends and colleagues or even their children. Taking a look at this Prudential Relationship Index actually opened my eyes to my own relationship with my partner too. Prudential has launched the inaugural 2016 Prudential Relationship Index (PRI) to understand the state of personal relationships in Malaysia and throughout Asia. Magic in Music with MPO
Magic in Music, was indeed another great performance, by Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) in Dewan Filharmonik Petronas (DFP), Petronas Twin Towers, KLCC… If you’d like to bring your little one, to experience orchestra, Family Fun Day is just superb to start them, fostering the interest in classical music. It’s amazing how they present orchestra music in such a fun way that everyone, even the children are easier to accept and appreciate the music!
