THE MPO PRESENTS ‘MAGIC IN MUSIC’ AT DEWAN FILHARMONIK PETRONAS!
he Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) starts the new year with its Family Fun Day concerts on Saturday, 7 January 2017 at 3.00 pm and Sunday, 8 January 2017 at 2.30 pm at Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS (DFP), KLCC. Themed Magic in Music, the MPO will bring its audience on a magical journey via an exciting programme with themes of mystery, adventures and, of course, magic. The repertoire will include John Williams’ Hedwig’s Theme from the blockbuster movie ‘Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone’ and excerpts from Mozart’s famous opera ‘The Magic Flute’. Sunway Lagoon Cirque Panda Acrobatics Troupe
We had the privilege recently to watch the Cirque Panda at Sunway Lagoon Amphitheatre. This is a show performed entirely by the China National Acrobatic Troupe. What a great way to start off the school holidays! We might not get to travel this month but at least we had a great experience watching this amazing award winning act. There’s a storyline about a young panda being trained to become a master of Acrobatics. Wenwen started out clumsy and was bullied and laughed at by her friends. Let’s Go To Camp This School Holiday
The year end school holiday is fast approaching. For many parents, it can be a harrowing time as the kids all stay home! As a working mum, it doesn’t affect me as much. However, I do not like my kids to idle the holidays away doing nothing. I am always thinking of letting them learn something new during this time.
