Why P1 ToGo® Plan = Convenience

It so happened that today, I had to help my boss get ready broadband internet for our guest at our guesthouse, and I ran into some ‘inconvenience issues’. Firstly, we are using those generic MIFI that I had to insert my own SIM card, but we are not subscribed to any plan, we are using Prepaid. So each time someone wants to use the internet, I had to take out the sim card, which is those antique big ol’ sim, and search for an antique phone that still uses big sim card, get a reload code, reload from the old phone, then subscribe to some internet plan, usually around RM15 just for 500Mb, put it back in the MIFI modem, and then only can use. Recently, I was not at work, on a long leave and nobody in my office knew how to do these steps. In fact, even I find it hard to do, as it is JUST SO INCONVENIENT! So I miss miss miss my P1 MIFI Broadband, and I’ve already written about why you should sign up for P1 ToGo® and here is why it is SO CONVENIENT.

First just choose the data plan that suits your usage. The minimum already comes with 5GB at RM59 a month.

This modem is similar to the one I used, the MX230, only difference being the MX230 can connect up to 10 devices. The UH235 on the other hand is a High Performance USB modem, with 60% stronger signal reception than the previous model UT. It is the most flexible USB modem with cable to cater for any laptops without obstructing other ports. It even stands on its own. 2) The 2nd convenience is that this P1 Modems to do not use sim cards, everything is programmed inside. It’s literally just plug and play, or for the MIFI, just turn on and get connected immediately! No fuss of how much to reload, how to reload etc. MIFI is really the future of wireless internet, it is so easy I just leave it in my handbag and bring it anywhere I go. If I hang out with friends, we can even share the internet connectivity.

3) Portability = convenience. All the P1 ToGo® modems are light and small, makes it easy to be used for travellers. There are so many types of Internet plans in Malaysia now, but ToGo® units are best suited, so small that it can fit right into your jeans, hassle free and free from encumbrances.

4) Perfect as a backup: Do you know that sometimes you cannot predict or control the Broadband Malaysia Internet service. Disruptions can happen anytime. In fact it did today in my office and the other day too, and I was really rushing some work. So while everyone is turning off and on the office modem to reset it, I was able to continue with my work using my backup modem. Since I was working at my desk, I could just plug in the modem to any USB ports to keep it charged. If your job requires you to move around a lot, in taxis, cars, on site etc, then this is a great alternative as well to your office fixed line. How many people do you know nowadays carry more than one line or pay for a few different internet packages? I know my colleague does, one sim card for the phone and another for his tablet, well even my husband carries two phones with two sim cards. Why spend on two packages when we can use P1 MIFI for both devices? Don’t look down on the 1Mbps that P1 advertises, I do not find it any slower than my supposed 72Mbps on my phone. I can actually stream internet movies on my iPad for my kids using the P1 MX230.

Recently, I was staying at a Tune Hotel in Damansara and as you know, have to pay for internet right? Even aircond and TV also have to pay extra. So as an alternative, I just let the kids watch their cartoons from the iPad streaming using the P1 Mifi. My very own personal in room wireless internet.
