Finally Josiah is 3 months old. Yesterday, he went for his 3rd month jab. This time we are smarter, we brought his fan to the clinic as it was always so hot. We also tried going in the afternoon instead of morning, where there’s always a neverending crowd.

We brought his stroller this time, but he didn’t even sit in it for more than a few minutes. After that, John had to carry him around to look around, else he would be fidgeting around.
It’s not easy to carry this baby
So, first station was where we weigh him. Now he weighs 7.3kg, that’s a 1.1kg increment from last month. Well, good at least not yet 8kg. Then, we waited somemore. In between I had to nurse him in a very hot room, where there are no open windows and no fan and no aircond! Some of the children were screaming away from the heat. Thank God again I have the MyDear clip fan, really helpful.
Josiah having good mood with the nurse
During the checkup with the nurse in the room, he was totally charming them, smiling away. The nurse kept pinching his cheeks and asking me if I fed him more than milk, they were asking if I gave him juice or rice. What? Crazy… I can’t help it that he’s chubby…
Injection!
Finally we have to enter the scary room, where he watched as a nurse put together a large looking needle. Large in his sight la.. anyways, as he was looking he started sobbing a little, like he knows what’s going on. Then as the needle was poked into his leg, he wailed rather loudly. By the time we took a few steps away from the room, he already stopped, and by the time he was sitting in his carseat, he fell fast asleep. Unfortunately not for long. By the time we got home, he was wide awake and wanted to be nursed and cuddled some more. What a day, I decided to put him to bed early, so early he slept by 6.30pm last night. Praise God everything went well, we are still monitoring him but so far there is no fever.
Aww…..he’s so precious and cute Like the michelin man!
