I finally received the Ipod Nano 3G 8GB Black I ordered from Macclick.com. Read the quest here. I received it this Wed, about 1 week since I ordered. That morning, I kept looking out the door to find the postman, finally I went out for an early lunch just before 12 noon, and as I walked down the stairs I saw this Nationwide truck/van pulling in. I approached the guy and sure enough he had my package. Yeah! I was delirious. I must say, he didn’t check my ID or anything and just gave me the package. Dangerous!
Anyways, I love the minimalistic Ipod Nano packaging.
It’s amazing how they pack quite a few things into the small crystal box. I couldn’t pack it back the same way after taking out the things.
In the package was the earphones, a dock changer, usb cable, a couple of Apple logo stickers, and a tiny manual.
Charging the iPod takes a very short time, it was actually quite fast as you charge with the USB to your computer and transfer files at the same time. So far, I’ve watched a few episodes of LOST on that tiny screen, but it is GREAT! You can convert videos to any iPod using the freeware, Videora. Works perfectly.
So, as you know, the new iPod Nano has very very scratch prone and smudge prone surfaces. In fact, just one day with me the back of it was already a little scratched.
So I had to find some way to protect it. I tried looking online for nice casings, but there are hardly any local stores having it yet. The most they have are silicon casings, which sucks. 😛
Me and my sis was looking at some online designs, when she had the bright idea of doing it ourselves, hence, DIY.
My sis made this cardboard mock up design to ensure the Nano fits. Yeah, she also bought a new 4gb Nano.
Initially we wanted to make it with felt cloth, but I had another idea, using the skin from those old diaries. I found this blue PVC type and made the casing out of it. What do you think?
Anyways, I love the Nano to bits! It’s small but perfect. See how it now keeps the JBL dock company.
That is so neat. Very creative for a personalized i-pod cover! Cool…
Hi, very creative and it looks really nice. I wonder if you have the template of your case and if you can share it?
Well, see you and have a nice day.
great work. Is there an way you can share the template for your casing? I’m working on a nano DIY myself and that would come in very handy
What a great tip!

I have been used video converter for 3 years, because of my work, an editor of a website, I have to cut many videos a day, and combine, convert, edit them. So, I used various video converter, I think any video converter and leawo video converter are the best ones, for any video converter is very easy to use, and leawo video converter has a good convert speed with high quality. I use them both.
