Yesterday I went to another cafe. Ok, maybe I really want to be a food taster HAha. This place is also in Sg Long called Chef Squirrel. It’s right next to the 100yen Jap stuff store, where you can get weird cheap Jap stuff, from biscuits, to chopsticks, to little utensils. Anyway, somebody said this place is much better than the HongKong bistro around the corner, which I liked, but hate the service. Station One Coffee House
This supposed Coffee House called STation 1 has been mushrooming recently, with chain stores in Sg Chua, Sg Long and Cheras. It’s got pretty fancy interior design, but it basically stops there. I visited the restaurant in Sg Chua, ordered Maryland chicken and checked out the available coffee range. Sadly, they call themselves a coffee house but doesn’t serve real coffee. Their coffee are those powdered kinds you can get in Pasar Malam. I don’t recommend the food either. It was just edible, but not worth the price. The Chicken tasted dry and hard. VS Anyone putting money down to subscribe the new Pay TV MiTV? Its decoders are already available on the market as of today. MiTV is supposed to be the ultimate rival of Astro . We had dreamed of MiTV killing the Astro monopoly of Pay TV so that pricing can become more affordable for the poor tv addicts. However, the MiTV decoder alone is priced at a whooping RM1188! That’s like 10 time more expensive than Astro’s decoder! They’ve gotta be kidding rite?
