First World Hotel Genting
According to www.piramindwelt.com, Genting’s First World Hotel was opened in 2002, it wasn’t there the last time I was an underage trying to get into Genting’s Casino back in 1999. Anyways, the First World Hotel is this huge 6000 over rooms colourful building. I paid for a Standard room over the Merdeka (Independence Day) holidays, only for RM95 room only package. The hotel is huge with a gigantic lobby, so big you can’t really check in at the counter. Guests have to check in using some automated machines with their MyKad and the keycard to the rooms pop out of the machines. You don’t get any personal services at this…

Fly back in time 50 years
I seldom read the NST some most of the time I did, I’d find it boring compared to theStar. Today I went into 7-eleven to grab theStar, but horrifyingly it was already finished. So many people read that paper huh. So, I had to grab NST instead. Took me less than an hour to finish reading it… However, I think I’d probably be buying NST everyday from 25 Aug to 31 Aug, as they are printing and giving free the old newspapers of those dates from 1957.
