Self Sacrificial Blobbies
Oh my goodness, I totally dig this advert when I first saw it! It’s about some paint that dropped out of the Nippon van and became Blobbies, some kind of around bubbly colourful monsters that ran the streets to paint some buildings, sacrificially, by splashing themselves on walls…whoever did this, I really love it! Especially the details of the weird slow mo focus on the faces of the Yellow Blobby complete with a broken tooth…very funny!

Fruits of the Sea
It might seem unfair to other states in Malaysia that Sabah seems to have everything that other states can offer for tourism..you want to climb mountains? She has the highest one, you want to go diving, she has the nicest diving spots, world-class at that, you want to eat? She has the biggest seafood! <a href=”https://www.flickr.com/photos/leona/15880075472″ title=”P1250434 by Leona, on Flickr”><img src=”https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7486/15880075472_479ef5bcf7.jpg” width=”500″ height=”375″ alt=”P1250434″></a> I had booked Air Asia’s Tune hotel in KK way before it even opened, for nothing but the cheap rates. I actually paid RM0.02 for the room for 2 nights, RM16.80 for the administrative fees, and RM 10.49 for 12 hours credit of air cond, that ‘s a total of RM27.31! I’ve never stayed in a cheaper room. <a href=”https://www.flickr.com/photos/leona/15880075472″ title=”P1250434 by Leona, on Flickr”><img src=”https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7486/15880075472_479ef5bcf7.jpg” width=”500″ height=”375″ alt=”P1250434″></a> The only thing is, the hotel is not in town, but a bit far off. So, we needed to rent a car to get around. <a href=”https://www.flickr.com/photos/leona/15693075038″ title=”P1250153 by Leona,…

Coolest University in Malaysia
While we were waiting to check in to Tune Hotel at 2pm, which is near to University Malaysia Sabah, we decide to take a drive there. I must say that studying there would have been like studying in a resort or paradise, with the beach in view, palm trees, the sea, etc. Wow. We wanted to visit the Museum and Aquarium, but it was lunch time so it was closed. Thankfully, John remembered he has a friend lecturing there, so he made a call to meet up. His friend brought us around to the nicest spots, and even showed us the jetty, which happened to be the only university with…
