    Sarawak in Puchong

    September 3, 2008 / 10 Comments

Once a while, we still can have a taste of Sarawak in Puchong. Last Merdeka, being a patriotic day, made me remember Sarawak all the more. So we made a drive down to Puchong, Bintang foodcourt just before attending a wedding, to taste the ever missed, Kolo Mee. Thank God it was open, but the noodles were already finishing. Here, Kolo Mee is so pricey. In Kuching, it usually cost RM2.70 to RM3.50 in town area, but here, the regular size is RM3.80 and Large is RM4.30. We ordered the Large, somehow the uncle made the regular and it was the last bowl after that. This is really an authentic…

How to cook Sarawak Tomato Kueh Tiaw

    September 2, 2008 / 13 Comments

Tomato Kueh Tiaw is only found in Sarawak, it happens to be one of the many amazing dishes Kuching has. I always missed this dish and must eat it everytime I go back for a short trip. Recently, after coming back from Kuching, I so terribly missed it that I decided to try to cook it myself. Here’s my recipe. 1) 450g Kueh Tiaw 2) Prawns, as much as you like 3) White Cuttlefish 4) Sayur Sawi 5) 2 table spoon Corn floor mixed in a cup of water 6) Tomato Sauce 7) Chicken Stock mixed in a cup of water 8) Sarawak White Pepper 9) 1 tea spoon of…

    (Nuffnang) Regarding Center ad placement

    August 27, 2008 / 1 Comment

I’m beginning to like Nuffnang much more now. I was using Nuffnang for ad placements since April of 2007, and since has yet to earn anything that is enough for cashout at all, even though I was a Glitterati member since January. I thought these local dudes won’t be able to help much anyways, so didn’t pay lots of attention to them. Then in July, Nuffnang decided to send me an email concerning my lousy ad placements which goes like this. Dear Leona Lim, Of late you might have noticed that you have gotten fewer ads, and thus less earnings on leonalim.com/. While we have tried selling your ad space,…

Wimax your world! That’s what P1 is telling people to do…. It does look like a good deal, RM999 free modem if you sign up before Sept 30th. Only unfortunate thing is it’s not here yet where I stay. I guess all the information can be found on http://www.p1w1max.com/. Check it out if you happen to stay around the area of Setapak, Subang and KL. I believe there are free trials available…
