Connection..just another facebook?
I just received an email invitation to join Connection. Immediately as I clicked into the site, it just reminds me of Facebook. Even some of the fonts…the colour…the image looked like the old Facebook site. I’m really not keen to join another social networking site. To me, Facebook is great enough. Forget about Friendster, Hi5, Myspace etc..some of which I have accounts there prior to the existence of Facebook.

Last Thursday I had my monthly checkup, and from now onwards it will be fortnightly as I enter the 3rd Trimester. Dr. Bedi reconfirmed the sex of the baby as boy this time. I also got my Tetanus injection on my left arm. I need to get 2 injections for first time mothers. Normally, 3rd Trimesters are associated with end of the honeymoon period, where different pregnancy symptoms are coming back. I thank God that I had been blessed with a pretty easy pregnancy, I never had any of the usual symptoms like morning sickness, cravings for certain food, headache etc. Recently, I found that I have the carpal tunnel…

P1 WiMAX, cares for the staffs too
You know I’ve been writing about WiMAX for some time now because it’s a new cool technology that’s already in our shores, and I really can’t wait for it to arrive in Kajang, so we can get a taste of it compared to the lacklustre ISPs we currently have. Watching AVI movies on Windows Vista
Windows Vista is great in many ways, but problematic in many ways as well for regular XP users. Most downloaded movies are in .avi format, but Windows Media Player in Vista just wouldn’t play them. Well, it will play, but one will only hear the audio not the see the video. You can’t even burn the video to DVD using the Windows DVD Maker as when you do that, Vista will define the file as corrupted. There is a workaround to this, and the answer is codec. With so many codecs out there, it will be hard to decide which ones actually worked..as there’s no uninstalling the codec once installed.…
