    I hate boiling water

    January 5, 2011 / 1 Comment

In my house, most of the time I have to boil the water. I hate this job, coz I have to lug the kettle, wait at the sink for the water to fill up, plug in it, wait till it’s boiled, then I have to pour it out into our water container, and the water finish up really fast, especially during cell nights. What boiling does is eliminate the salts and bicarbonates that hard water comes with. Boiling water softens it partially. But one day, I decided to get fleck water softener and be done with the monotonous chore of boiling water. I get frustrated when I need to drink…

One Small Step in This New Year

    December 30, 2010 / 0 Comments

I’ve always wanted to take the big leap, make the big changes, what I did not do this year, I wanted to do next year by leaps and bounds, and then I realised, that’s why I always get disappointed. Nearly always gave up when things don’t change the way I thought it would. So for 2011, I have resolute to take small steps, one step at a time. And I don’t really have to wait to Jan 1 to start, I’ve already started. You can start today.

    The Best Pan Mee Ever!

    December 28, 2010 / 4 Comments

First, let me say that I am not a Big Fan of Pan Mee. We don’t have such things as Pan Mee back in Sarawak, so naturally, I have to stay loyal to only Kolomee. That is not until I tasted this Pan Mee. And that was when it was just a small stall in Pasar Kajang along the smelly river. This Pan Mee tastes heavenly amidst the smelliness. It was actually next to the ever famous Chu Cheong Fan stall, I think the guys are brothers. Anyways, one day, the shop closed! I heard rumours here and there that it has moved to Sg Chua. A few times we…

    The Real Truths about Breastfeeding

    December 20, 2010 / 3 Comments

I’ve decided to write this article on The Real Truths about Breastfeeding from my personal experience of doing it for the last 22 months after realising that there are too many articles out there that are not based on the truth. After all, the truth sets you free. I believe learning these hard truths early on for any parent will prepare them better on the journey of breastfeeding. Glorifying and sugarcoating breastfeeding and omitting all the hard details only makes it harder to be accomplished, so here you go. The 1st Truth Breastfeeding is A PAINFUL HARD WORK. When I first read about breastfeeding, I knew it would be inconvenient,…
