Fourth Day in Battambang
It was now Tuesday 19th of April. The night before, we all slept really late. As we were doing our usual devotions in one of the rooms, there was visitation from the Lord. I shall not try to describe all that happened then, simply coz it was pretty undescribable. I can only say God ministered to each one of us in an amazing manner. We were simply touched. That evening too our pastor smsed saying she decided to pay us a visit from Siem Riep.
In the morning, groggy eyed and all, the team split into two and I and some others followed Danielle to Salaa Hope the school run by the church, also where she is teaching. We had a great time with the beautiful kids there. They were so small but yet so trained in speech, greeting us even as we enter their classes.
Then Danielle took us to the new ground where the new school was being built. It was really big with a huge pond in the middle. We had some time feeding the fishes and praying for the place.
After that, we returned to the learning centre. The other half of of team was praying for the place. We rested and waited for our pastor’s arrival. We spend much time in prayer that day. Later in that afternoon, we started teaching again. It was great to see the smiling faces of the students as they arrive. I strongly believe the presence of God was there and the students were being touched.
So many once again, accepted the Lord. By that time, I was out of count. By the third class, I was actually physically dried up! Thank God for Wai Lune who helped to take over the whole class. It was like I couldn’t raise my voice anymore at the time. After classes, we went out to a nearby stall for dinner. That’s where we ate so much authentic stuffs, like the fantastic sandwich, satay etc.
Then it was off back to the learning centre for night devotions before heading back to the hotel.
