Breastfeeding and Working
Thanks to encouragement from Christine and Karen from their blogs, I had decided I would continue breastfeeding even after returning to work. It would mean having to express during working hours. For that, I made a huge purchase with my breast pump. After researching a lot during my confinement, I settled for the Ameda Lactaline Personal double pump, putting aside the initial Spectra 3 I was considering. I’m not one of those lucky women who find it so easy to pump even with a manual pump, for me, I really needed a good one in order get anything out. At the time, I wanted to buy this from UK, but…

At 2 months…
Yesterday we brought Josiah to the clinic for his 2nd month’s checkup and immunisation. We went early in the morning, but the place is already full of people. I wonder always how early these people came. So we waited and waited, in total of 3 hours. Just for a weigh in and an injection. I tried all kinds of pillows and chairs around my house, and different positions but couldn’t get one that’s actually confortable. It’s no fun to to holding a baby that gets heavier each…

I miss my confinement time
So, confinement is finally over, but instead of sighing with relief, I wish it was a little longer. Let’s see why.. 1) I had a super cun confinement nanny, her name is Mandy Mandy has been in the business for only 5 years, and used to work in a restaurant. She’s totally passionate about cooking and food, and is easily satisfied when I eat up everything. She doesn’t cook in huge proportions and force me to eat though, it’s just enough. She’s really easy to get a long with, and helped me out a lot. She certainly taught me many things, from bathing the baby, to how to boil red…
