I only heard of onethousandbloggers.com yesterday from the Banana who speaks. All the faces of bloggers… I thought the site was pretty cool….letting bloggers buy a tiny spot on the main page to link to their blogs. I jumped on the bandwagon and applied for the spot, and good thing, it was for free yesterday. Today they started charging $3. If you’ve got the bucks, then get your spot now. It will be there for at least 5 years… So far only 205 bloggers have registered, with Singaporeans being the most followed by Malaysians. Seems there’s not much from other countries so far. So, get the news out so that…

In March last year, I posted the steps of how to get your hotmail to be 250Mb instead of the miserly standard 2Mb (a rarity these days) email account. To date, many have benifited from it, some managed to achieve 250Mb themselves, and others get stuck with the automatic 25Mb. I was one of those that waited and waited, and 3 months passed and no 250Mb. Sometime in November, I decided to do a little experiment of my own upon hearing some rumours on how to make it 250Mb. I hardly get mail in my hotmail account, as I use Gmail all the time…besides the Junk that gets in. Therefore,…

But the software I used (Smartmovie) needed me to convert normal video/vcd files to handheld formats, and it just took too long. I think I eventually gave up. Now that I’m using the Zire 72 passed on from John, which has better processing power and abilities to watch movies, I decided to try it again. Palm’s own website wasn’t particularly helpful in providing a…

This is a sequel to my last post on buying Ipods. The new Ipod video released last week is another gadget to die for. The Ipod Video has a relatively larger screen and a slimmer built, which makes it ideal. There’s been some talks that it’s still not good enough in terms of the battery power, as watching vids will eat up the battery in 3 hours. However, looking at the price, it’s still the most worthwhile buy. Well, iPOD 30GB Video @ RM 1,599; iPOD 60GB Video @ RM 2,099. It will be out in Malaysian market in 2-3 weeks, so says Apple Centre Malaysia. It’s only about RM100…
