Kuching Kolomee hits Kajang again
A couple of years ago, I wrote about Kuching Kolomee in Kajang. Unfortunately, business was not awesome so the guy moved to Kuchai Lama in KL to continue his business. Hallelujah once again to Sarawakians in Kajang as this new shop was opened recently. And what more, it is really a good authentic Kolomee. The guy is a young fella from Kuching and the shop is open for very long hours from 6am – 4pm. The noodle is not exactly like the one in Kuching, but besides that, the taste and ingredients are perfect. He even use ‘Char Siew oil’ to give that pink sweet taste. Big bowls are served…

Cheras Home Tradition Fish Head Noodle
Mahkota Cheras has stretches and stretches of food stalls that are really good. We went to this one after running out of the Korean Restaurant in disappointment, and we certainly have no regrets. This place has the BEST Fish head noodle EVER! It’s high in Omega 3, known to lower cholesterol, even as a cure for diabetes amongst its many many benefits. I started thinking of how important Chia Seed is today when I found out my dad’s kidney is starting to fail. The doctor…

Sekinchan Ikan Bakar
Previously if you wanna eat ikan bakar, you have to go to one of those lalat invested (flies) stalls, open air and hot places in Kajang. You know how flies are so attracted to the stench of raw fish. Well, now you can eat your favourite ikan bakar in a nicely decorated cafe, with nice lighting and no flies. Sekinchan Ikan Bakar just opened in Reko Central a few days ago and we paid a visit there. I did not get the picture but as you enter, there is a fish counter where all the raw fish are displayed, dead though. It is a nicely enclosed glass cabinet for you…
