The little people under the stairs (and on the screen)
It’s been a while now since this film came out, but it’s so lovely, that I thought I’d spend a little bit of time on it. The film in question is Arietty, from the legendary Studio Ghibli. Although it came out in 2010, it is a slice of pure sunshine that should not be forgotten. Arriety is the first film to be directed by star Ghibli animator Hiromasa Yonebayashi, who had previously worked on favourites such as Howl’s Moving Castle and Spirited Away. Dry Kitchen Makeover
Last month, we finally decided to renovate our kitchen, extend it and have a real kitchen after living in this house for over 4 years. Fishy
For the last 2 weeks, I just have this craving towards fish. Previously, the thought of fish makes me nauseated, but now I just love it. Everytime it’s lunch time, I can just think of fish head meehoon, steam fish head, fish and chips, fish whatever and more fish. I saw yesterday that a cafe is opening up in Metro Point, and it’s called Arowana Fish Cafe. That’s quite weird, coz Arowana fish, that’s supposed to be a pet right? Before there was 1Malaysia, we truly experienced racial harmony in Malaysia. Came across this video when we were teaching Josiah this song. But watching this video now brings a melancholic nolstagia, like I miss how Malaysia really was and know this was how Malaysia is supposed to be. Whatever happened to our beloved nation.
