THE MPO COLLABORATES WITH CHOIR OF CLARE COLLEGE, CAMBRIDGE AT DEWAN FILHARMONIK PETRONAS
The Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) is proud to announce its debut collaboration with the Choir of Clare College, Cambridge, in two showcases at Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS (DFP), Kuala Lumpur City Centre. The performances are scheduled on Saturday, 17 September 2016 at 8.30 p.m. and Sunday, 18 September 2016 at 3.00 p.m. All performances will be led by Graham Ross, the choir’s Music Director since 2010, and will witness the MPO and the ensemble perform some of the most exciting works such as Dukas’ Fanfare from ‘La Peri’, Copland’s Fanfare for the Common Man, Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms, Tchaikovsky’s Overture 1812 and Faure’s Requiem, Op.48.
