Airasia is at it again, with its infamous free seats offer. “Siapa cepat dia dapat” is the motto here, meaning who’s the fastest gets the offer. I checked the site this morning for Labour day period (May 1st) and surprisingly there were free flights to Kota Kinabalu, a place I’ve been meaning to go for a long time. At first, there were flights on 30 April evening that were at RM0, I thought I can work in the morning and only go to the airport later, so can use half day leave. From itil training that one receives in any mcsa boot camp, one learns enough to know that being an mcp means constant studying for the rest of your life. There will always be a ccna exam or the more advanced ccnp exam coming up one week or the other. Even with mcse behind you, you cannot get rid of the it training, ever.

HACKED!
My sites were down pretty much about 24 hours yesterday. BECAUSE I WAS HACKED! What a blow it was…actually my host server was hacked, and all the accounts in it removed. When I found out yesterday morning, it was like, a NIGHTMARE! As I had just spent a few days before with the server migration, and now with this. I even receive an email from Text-link-ads, asking why my site was down. I was so afraid they would remove all the advertisers like they did before. At first it was all panic, then I had to get my head together to redownload the files and databases from my old server…

Of Rain and public protests
Since the start of Ramadhan, Kajang town has seen extra traffic especially during lunch hours. Why is this so? I was stuck in one of those jams yesterday mid afternoon as I was leaving my office for lunch, and lo and behold, it also happened to be raining. A normal 5 minute drive to reach town this time took me half an hour. That was how bad the jam was. So slow that I was able to snap pics. Today, during lunch, I was able to witness a group of Maybank Kajang employees, ‘catching snakes’ or ‘chicken’ (meaning escaping work) by protesting outside the the bank. What a funny sight,…
