Chinese festivals
The Chinese celebrates many festivals throughout the year, the biggest being the Chinese New Year, but there are others along the way like the coming Mooncake Festival. Everytime there is such a major Chinese festival, the families must gather for a big meal. Yes, we celebrate by eating lots, that’s basically it. The Chinese community in Malaysia celebrates the Mooncake Festival this Tuesday, Sept 25th. My mum called on Sat night to remind me to have a sumptuous meal on that night. FUEL Conference and Concert how it rocked!
So finally, life is back to normal! After months of going crazy organizing this conference and concert, it is OVER! Everything turned up better than I expected, forget the problems that cropped out. That’s just normal… I think I had a blast. The only sad thing I felt was not really being able to go to the workshops and just sit and listen. I did manage to sit in Worship Leadership for a good hour and a bit of Productions with Lauren. It was so different the productions and drama they do, and such an eye opener. Fuel Worship Conference Update
When we first started planning this conference, we were thinking maybe just get a hall for 700 people for the concert. It would be so much cheaper. However, by faith we decided to go with a 3000 seater hall in Dewan Wawasan PGRM. Well, the concert is this weekend, and it is all so exciting. Our target of 300 people for the conference in the church seems not coming true just a couple of weeks ago, but today it seems like we may just surpass that target.
