Free movies at GSC Alamanda
Finally, after a long, long time, GSC Alamanda is opening for the public tomorrow. Well, actually the soft opening was since 29 March to today, and they are having free movies! I only found out today, so I’m so sad, because it’s too late for me to go already. If you’re free tonite, you can still go and redeem the tickets using the coupon above. Sarikei Bridge
Kuching city is divided into North and South by the Sarawak River with two different Local Councils, Sarikei being a rather small town is also divided into two parts separated by the Nyelong River. One is the actual town where all the markets, government offices, shops etc are, and the other part known as the village, where some local people build their houses there. It is also a road that links to Bintangor, the local short cut. It’s quite a fuss to travel to and fro these two parts for the local people. They have to take a ferry ride at the jetty. Hard to Get KCH food
CNY is the only time I get to go back to Kuching, yet it kinda sucks because all the good shops are closed, I’m talking about the food here. The best of Kuching’s Kolo mee, Laksa etc are all closed for business a few days before CNY and goes on a few days more after. Obviously, being the best, they’ve already made enough money to survive not running the business for more than a week.
