U.S. Burger and Fries Fiesta at Hide & Seek Cafe, Equine Park, Seri Kembangan
Remember that I told you about the U.S. Burger and Fries Fiesta happening throughout this month across a few cafes and restaurants around Klang Valley? Well, I managed to check out one of the cafes located in Equine Park, Seri Kembangan known as Hide & Seek. This cafe is located on the 1st floor so it may not be so obvious to passer bys, and I think it is most frequented during lunch hours by the young and hip crowd as there are so many offices and banks around the area.
The cafe is very cosy with simple decorations, with even a separate couch area and a more outdoorsy area like a balcony where diners can eat and watch the traffic outside.
What is most important though is the burger, and it is my job to tell you whether it is worth to come here or not!
Not many places serve Pork Burger, but this is found here and it is top on the list.
The portion of The Signature Pork Burger is not huge so it is great for smaller eaters. The star of it is of course the homemade juicy pork patty, which is really thick, and it’s topped with melting cheddar cheese.
U.S. Steak Fries is served with a side of salad, the fries used being a thicker cut. With one bite, you can know straight away it is not full of starch but it is real potatoes as U.S. Potato only uses quality potatoes processed into fries.
The next burger I tried was the Juicy Chicken Burger. The pan-fried Chicken Patty is sandwiched with cheese, a very simple burger done just right.
I love how the patty is prepared, they did not mince the chicken meat but instead use the whole meat of the chicken leg deboned. I actually love chicken burger made this way as I can taste the chicken meat as it is, the original way. The content of the burger is just simple, with slices of tomato and salad and not with too many ingredients that confuses the taste.
The portion is just perfect for me, and with the fries together, it is really a full meal. The U.S. Fries are pretty crispy, but not super crispy, it is more like eating real potatoes, slightly salted.

Near my place, and I love the portion, big portion and the place look awesome with simple decoration. But non-halal restaurant. Hehehe Anyway, it’s still best place to hang out. I will share the place with my non-muslim’s friends 🙂

That looks very appetizing. Nice place but I wonder why are they in 1st floor. There are many Malaysians who are just too lazy to climb stairs and I believe they don’t have an elevator there, do they?
Anyway, if the food is damn good, then nobody is going to complain about using staircase. 😀
