Let’s Get Pink with Watsons

I’ve loved using Watsons Pure Beauty line so I was so happy when this new Pink range was launched recently, and what more in the iconic Hello Kitty Gourmet Cafe!

The new products in this line were

1. So Fresh Essence Water RM39.90- Moisturising and Clarifying, Balances Hydration, Radiance and Brightness


2. So Glow Essence RM49.90- Keeps the skin hydrated, dewy while correcting and also evens out discoloured skin


3. So Smooth Pudding Cream RM39.90 – Moisturises and softens enhances complexion for a healthy pinkish glow


4. So Blur Cream RM42.90 – Blur effect, smoothen and refines pores, correcting skin tone

Pink by Pure Beauty is formulated using a unique combination of PhytoCellTec Alps Rose, Pink Flower Capsule and active whitening ingredients to help brighten the skin and to create a perfect hydration balance, in the end you get bright pinkish fair skin.

It was also such an honor to meet celebrity makeup artist Stevensunny, who spent the afternoon with us to demo the skincare Pink by Pure Beauty products as well as show us how to do a K-Beauty Makeup.

He used only simple makeup yet, check out his skills, it was so good!  Elana looking sweet and gorgeous all at the same time.

Stevensunny decided to do another round of makeup demo on another blogger for the sake of those of us seated on the other side.

We learned that The Pudding cream is Stevensunny’s favourite product, and that it can even be used as an emergency mask sometimes, by putting a thick layer all over the face. He also taught us how to dab it on our neck and how to massage the neck correctly in order not to have those lines that show our age. I like the way he does the makeup without going too thick with the coverage, he claims that showing a little bit of flaw like freckles is fine as it makes us more natural and gives a ‘no-makeup’ look.

Personally, I’m so glad to get the So Blur Cream, as I have terrible uneven skin tone, so I always need some sort of CC Cream and BB Cream to cover. So now, I actually use the Pure Beauty CC Cream everyday, and on top of that I use the So Blur Cream. I do not feel a thick layer on my skin, even though I did put a lot of layers of products on it. Instead, it feels light and covers just nicely without the cakey feeling. Both the CC Cream and So Blur Cream also protects from UV Rays so it’s just perfect for going out. I love the ingredients in this product too.

I hope to try the Pudding cream too since Stevensunny spoke highly of it. It looks super hydrating.

There was also a bloggers best dressed contest, that went to Bowie my favourite Kajang girl. Bowie was awarded RM100 worth of CRM points into her Watsons VIP Card and was given away by Danny Hoh, Head of Marketing, Watsons Malaysia and Stevensunny.  She was looking so lovely and sweet and totally deserved the win. I was also so happy as I won a Pure Beauty Whitening Serum from answering a short QnA contest quiz.

Since we were in Hello Kitty Cafe, we could not help but take a lot of photos in the cute surroundings.

The waitresses uniforms were so cute too.
