Burt’s Bees Lip Crayon Now In Malaysia

Recently, Burt’s Bees launched their new range of lip colour called Lip Crayon in six amazing shades. We attended the Blogger’s Party held in M Marini KLCC to learn about what shade of colour to wear to compliment our clothes with special guest MakeUp Artist Pauline Tan.

I learned quite a lot just attending this party, like how to make my own lip scrub and that I actually have to scrub at least once a week. Lip Scrub can be made using just honey, brown sugar and olive oil. The thing is, we should not leave our lips bare after scrubbing, it will make it worse, dry and stuff.

We need to always use some lip balm on our lips, like Burt’s Bees Ultra Conditional Lip Balm made with Cocoa Butter and Shea Butter.

We can also use this Signature Beeswax Lip Balm which I love as well after trying this out at the party. I never knew about using lip balm before lip colour, I usually just put on lip colour alone or lip balm alone on days I do not want to use any colour. Well, now I know better thanks to Pauline.

I carry all four colours everywhere in my handbag.

Check out the swatches on my hand for the four different colours. They are actually very matte after putting on, and they are not sheer like other lip colours, meaning your lip colour will completely follow the colour of the Lip Crayon. I love the crayon shape as it is so easy to put it on, easy to draw the lines from the corners of the lips and easy to shape it without a brush. They also stay on pretty well, the darker the colours the longer it stays. Sedona Sands is the only one that is in nude, while Napa Vineyard and Redwood Forest are the dark ones. I actually really love Carolina Coast for the slight like purple look, and also Hawaiian Smolder as it is the easiest colour to match with any clothes. Niagara Outlook is a peachy red/pink shade so it’s really nice as well, ah they are all nice!
