Online shopping has become more and more accepted nowadays, and many companies are thriving just by setting up an online store without having to pay for physical rental. I kind of enjoy online shopping especially for my baby stuff rather than going to the stores or shopping malls. One of the reason being it’s easier to get all the specific things I want online, and read up on the details of a product rather than choose a product and then walk into a store to search for it. For certain things, they are also cheaper online, what more some sites offer online sales during festive seasons too. One of the store I frequent most online is Littlewhiz.com. I like the fact they have lots of variety, from baby cots to mummy gear.
So far, I had bought so many things from them, and really liked the service. They use KTM Courier service and it’s really fast, like if I order today, the things would arrive within tomorrow or at most the next day. They can even send things in bulk, like when I bought my car seat. I searched for this car seat from Kajang to Bangi to KL, but couldn’t find it. So in the end, I bought it online.
Shopping online is especially useful for mothers to be like me, especially in these last 3 weeks of pregnancy, when I can’t really walk long hours and long distance anymore. The last time I went shopping at The Curve, every few minutes I need to sit down coz my feet were killing me. Every few minutes I need to go the the ladies! And now only 3 weeks to go, I spend a lot of my energy clearing up stuffs in the house, clearing up the kitchen, clearing up the nursery, doing cleaning here and there, since I can’t do it later anymore. Furthermore, if there are last minute things I need to get, it’s as easy as a click away.
I’m really satisfied with the products so far, and it’s also easy to compare prices online. Another good thing is they provide points collection. After you buy a certain price, you will get certain points that you can use to redeem things in future. So far, I’ve already gotten some free things through redemption of this kind. Even if you’re not a mother to be, you can still get things from there as gifts for your friends. 😛
I love online shopping to bits, but sometimes the stuffs i saw are not the stuffs i got….
ya that’s y it’s really important to buy from a reputable online merchant…
will they replace/refund you if the stuff you got is not satisfactory?
yes! if you’re not satisfied with the product, just contact them within 3 days and return the product within 15 days in their original condition. They will replace the item or you can exchange for something else. For damaged products, Littlewhiz will replace the parts or replace a new one at their expense, for damaged products it’s Exchange only, meaning you can’t totally change to another different product.
i am a FAN of online shopping too! got stuff from ebay to blogshops to real e-shops. fantastico
hmm… i’m a bit skeptical after i bought a dress from a blogshop, it didn’t turn out like what the pic showed. disappointed at the first try… once bitten, twice shy. 🙂
dear, blogshops are different, you have to ask to see the real dress pic, not a pic of a beautiful japanese model, because some of the dresses are locally made following the designs they get from those pics, so definitely they are different. unless i see the actual dress, i won’t buy it. normally for dresses, it’s better to have tried it on. but then i’ve actually bought many that i really like, one or two that didn’t work out.
online shopping for baby stuffs indeed is a very convenient way, I am a mother now and I love online shopping, besides littlewhiz, bbstore is also another good place to get cheaper baby stuffs…=)
