Images that speak

It comes as no surprise that I love taking pictures. I had long to take pics since before I got a camera, and now that I have one, I never leave home without it. Nevertheless, I still don’t have that sharp photographer eye many has.

I love sharing my pics, and one of the sites I upload my better pics to is Stock.xchg. This is basically a free stock photo site, with pictures uploaded by professionals and amateurs around the world. This is strictly not a personal gallery, but pictures one upload will be thoroughly screened through by the moderators. I had recently uploaded some pics of Cambodia to this site, and surprisingly LivingEarthTV and ForestFriends have already asked permission to use my pictures. It’s great when your pics come in handy to others. This has prompted me to take more quality pics instead of those snap and go types. I hope one day to get so good, that I can actually make money out of my hobby at Shutterstock.
Some of the pics there are of superb quality.

Some of the comments of the Cambodian kids’s pics:

  • ” I love the composition and the combination of green and the colour of the skin.congratulations!” – friducha
  • “Thank you for this wonderful photo…you have captured such an innocent moment and I am grateful! I will contact if I am able to use, I wish you the best and thank you!” – leila1
  • “just beautiful…it has such a mood and it speaks to me..thankyou!” – leila1
  • “I like this because their gratitude seems innocent and sincere. ” – terryedlin

It touches my heart when those images speaks something more than just a 2D pic to these people….
