Picserver vs other pichosts

Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us

My sis Chris, is into blogging now that she’s got a new Camera. She’s just started writing a few journal entries in Zorpia’s journal feature. Somehow, me and Zorpia just don’t click. Anyways, we were just chatting when she told me about Picserver. Hey what’s that? I’m always on the look out for free images hosts, so I decided to check it out. Oh what a disappointment it was.

The web address itself already don’t look proper. But anyways, I tried looking up the FAQ/About to see what’s the limit of this service. Apparently, the owner of the site claims he’s got no time to write an FAQ or anything at all. The only way was to sign up anyways. So, I wasted like 3 minutes to sign up for this supposedly wonderful service , looking at the side chat column of some users.

After getting in, I realise that there’s a limit of 15Mb! Nooooo! I had limits, whoever sets these limits! Image hosts should be limitless and FREE! HAHA
Ok, so I had to go back to using Imageshack. Another great host is Flickr, I only use Flickr for more nice pictures that I capture, but not for screenshots such as these that I use to review sites. Therefore, Imageshack is the way to go. Picserver? Forget about it! In fact, they allowed hostings of not too ‘proper’ pics.

So there you go. I’m just writing this for my sis. If you’re not Chris, sorila!

  1. I agree, and last time i checked, the guy that runs picserver is going broke and the site is going down.

If you think 15MB is bad, walagata gives like 3!! Personally, I like Photobucket 🙂

  2. Hola leona, replying your comment on my blog on yours 😛

Dont worry, i used my gmail account, which is being used anyways, not my active mail account _

I’d welcome any spam they sent me.
