Troy

On the first day of Troy’s opening, I hastily went to watch it in the little cinema in the little town of Kajang…I was really looking forward to this film. Most girls would understand why 😛 No really, I just love fight movies. Whether it’s Chinese Jet Li figting kinds to War movies to Ancient times huge battles…they’re all great. Of course, who’s acting in the lead is a plus ya know.

Anyways, I sneaked in my cam, thought I could snap some stills while I watch, it would be something new and exciting! I didn’t want the massive crowds to notice so I just simply position the camera and snap away. Unfortunately, when I got home, I found that none of the pics turned out even presentable, so oh well.

The movie was very enjoyable. I was very uncomfortable in my seat though, due to the long run of the show. But overall, I think the movie stands a chance in the awards, the fantastic fighting scenes and the gore of it all, especially when What’s His name Archille’s cousin got slashed in the throat by Odyseus who had mistaken him for Archilles himself. Anyways, the splurting of blood as he murmurs and his head that looked about to fall off was pretty interesting and real.

Brad and Eric acted really well, as for Legolas..oops I mean Orlando, I still think he’s very pretty and girlie, but he suits the role totally, as Paris in the myth is supposed to be the most beautiful man in the world.

Overall, the movie should have been made as a trilogy or something, coz so much of the myth was taken out or miscontrued. 2 hours 40 minutes just ain’t enough. Worse still, people will forget about this show in just a matter of weeks…
